Russian woman Potapova was not issued a visa to participate in a tennis tournament in Germany

Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova will not be able to play at the WTA tournament in Hamburg (Germany) due to visa problems.
Last year, Potapova reached the semi-finals of this tournament.
– I’m sorry to inform you, but I have to withdraw from Hamburg due to visa problems. My team and I submitted the documents on time, but unfortunately the review was delayed. Last year I really enjoyed performing in Hamburg and I hope to be able to return there in 2024!
At the moment, the team and I are doing our best to prepare as best we can for the American series! See you in Washington! Potapova wrote on the social network.
The tournament in Hamburg belongs to the WTA 250 category, it is held on clay and will be held from 23 to 29 July. 22-year-old Potapova is ranked 24th in the WTA rankings.
