Novak Djokovic doesn’t travel to Toronto to rest
Novak Djokovic will miss the Toronto tournament to rest and prepare for the US Open.
The decision not to take part in the Toronto tournament was made by Novak Djokovic as the Serbian tennis player preferred to take a break to be optimally prepared for the US Open.
“Nole” made it to the Wimbledon final where he lost to Carlos Alcarath and felt the need not to put any more strain on his body in Canada.
The next big date for the world No. 2 is the US Open, which starts at the end of August.
