WTA ranking. Starodubtseva updated the record, great progress Bindl
Last week the women held two WTA 250 clay tournaments in Palermo and Budapest. China’s Zheng Qinwen took his first career title in Sicily, which allowed him to move up to 24th place. Finalist Jasmine Paolini is back in the top 50.
In Hungary, the championship went to Maria Timofeeva, who defeated the Ukrainian Katerina Beindl in the final. Timofeeva made a breakthrough in 117 positions, taking 129th place in the world classification.
There was no change in the top twenty of the rating.

The Ukrainians retained their places Elina Svitolina, Angelina Kalinina and Lesya Tsurenko. Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremskaya added a little, Katerina Bindl, Daria Snigur and Yulia Starodubtseva went forward more solidly. Bindl has climbed to its highest position overall in the WTA rankings since September 2019. Starodubtseva once again updated her personal success.
