Who will win the first Masters title? Finalists of the tournament in Toronto announced

On the night of August 13, the semi-finals of the tough tournament of the ATP 1000 series were held in Toronto (Canada).

Italian tennis player Yannick Sinner defeated American Tommy Paul in straight sets.

The bottom-line finalist of the Masters was Australia’s Alex De Minaur, who won two matches against Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

Sinner will play the final of the ATP tournament for the 11th time and will fight for his 8th title. In 2023, Yannick won the tournament in Montpellier and lost in the finals of the competitions in Rotterdam and Miami. De Minaur will host its 14th ATP final and its fourth this year. Alex will try to win his eighth ATP title and his second of the season. He became the winner of the competition in Acapulco in 2023.

It is worth noting that Yannick and Alex have not yet held a single title in the tournaments of the Masters category (ATP 1000).
