On the evening of August 13, the final match of the ATP 1000 series tough tournament was held in Toronto (Canada).
Italian Yannick Sinner beat the australian Alexa De Minaura. The final lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes and ended in two sets.

This marks the 21-year-old Sinner’s first career ATP 1000 win. Altogether, this is the 8th ATP title of his career for the Italian.
