Samsonova lost to American Pegula in the final of the tennis tournament in Montreal

Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova was defeated by American Jessica Pegula in the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Montreal, Canada.
The meeting lasted 49 minutes and ended with the score 6:1, 6:0 in favor of the American. Samsonova played her second match on Sunday as the semi-final against Kazakhstan’s Yelena Rybakina was postponed due to rain.
Pegula is ranked third in the world rankings, the 29-year-old athlete won her third WTA title.
