Dramatic defeat of Rublev in the USA. The Russian burst into tears right on the court

Andrei Rublev is one of the most emotional tennis players in the world. At the tournament in the USA, the Russian again shocked the fans with his expressive behavior. Andrei finished the game with tears in his eyes.

Rublev traditionally came to the tournament in Cincinnati in the status of one of the favorites. Andrey had to start performances in the USA against a rather convenient opponent. Finnish athlete Emil Ruusuvuori is ranked 60th in the ATP rankings, and his victories over tennis players from the top ten can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

According to the first two games, it seemed that Emil was an excellent opponent for rolling into the tournament. Rublev took two points in a row without a fight. But then the level of play of our tennis player dropped sharply. The first set turned into an attraction of unprecedented generosity. There were so many mistakes that would have been enough for several games.

Andrey did not consistently succeed in any of the elements. Even my favorite forehand failed over and over again. At the end of the game, Rublev gave vent to his emotions. He threw the racket on the floor, for which he received the first remark. The winner of the set was determined by tie-break. The Russian could take this segment twice, but constant mistakes led to a loss 6:7 (10:12).

The Russian again could not control his emotions. The racket suffered again: Andrey threw it to the ground. On the way to the resting place, the tennis player also spoiled government property. Andrey with all his strength charged on the sofa, breaking the plate with the emblem of the tournament. For this, he received a fine: the second set had to start at 0:15.

The next segment, however, was calmer for Rublev. Yes, he gave vent to emotions, but the imposed fine forced him to keep himself within the permissible limits. The Russian only sometimes broke into a scream and bit his T-shirt. Marriage in the actions of Andrey also became a little less, which brought the victory 7:5.

Alas, the third installment was a real disappointment for Rublev. He again made a break at the first opportunity, and snatched this point in a bitter struggle. But already in the next game Andrey gave up his serve. The case again came to a tie-break. This time, Ruusuvuori left no chance for the Russian to complete the match with a victory, leaving behind the decisive game 7:6 (7:3), and with it the whole match.

“He’s just worried”

Right during the third set, emotions from an unsuccessful game overwhelmed Andrey, but this time the athlete did not break equipment and surrounding objects. Rublev sat down and burst into tears in a towel, and the Russian’s tears fell on camera in close-up.

Fans, seeing such a reaction, supported the athlete on social networks with warm words.

“He just cares about what he does and he wants to do it well,” wrote a user with the nickname @notnac_sadgut.
