Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina completed her performance at the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati. In the fight for the quarterfinals, she lost to the second racket of the world, Belarusian Arina Sabolenko in two sets – 3:6, 3:6.
In the 1 hour and 18 minutes that the match lasted, Kasatkina scored 2 passes right through, made 2 double faults and converted 2 break points out of 6. Sobolenko filed a relegation 2 times, made 2 errors on the serve and converted 4 break points out of 8.
In the 1/4 finals, Sobolenko will meet with the fifth racket, Tunisian Ons Jaber.
