US Open will hold another charity match to support Ukraine
The organizers of the US Open have announced that they will hold a charity match in support of Ukraine in New York for the second year in a row.
The event will take place on August 23 at the 14,000-spectator Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Currently, it is known that Elina Svitolina, Carlos Alcaras, Francis Tiafoe, Matteo Berrettini, Jessica Pegula, Christopher Eubanks and John McEnroe will take part in the charity match.
All proceeds will go to GlobalGiving Fund for Victims Aid in Ukraine.
It should be noted that last year the organizers of the US Open raised more than $ 1 million at such an event.
The US Open will be played from August 28 to September 10.
