The 1/4 finals of the challenging tournament of the ATP 1000 series were played on the night of 19 August in Cincinnati (USA).

Carlos Alcaraz, the world’s first racket, defeated Australian Max Purcell in three sets. Next, Charlie will meet with Hubert Hurkacz, who defeated Alexei Popyrin in two sets.

Masters second seed Novak Djokovic has dealt with Taylor Fritz. In the semi-finals, Nole will play against Alexander Zverev. The German knocked out Adrian Mannarino.
