Gauff beat Swiatek for the first time to reach the final in Cincinnati

The world’s first racket Iga Sviontek completed their performance at the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati.

Lost polka in 1/2 finals to Corey Gauff (WTA #7) of the USA.

It was the eighth match of the tennis players, Gauff won for the first time. He had not won a single set against Iga before.

Corey reached the WTA 1000 final for the first time in his career.

In the next round, the American will face Karolina Muchova (WTA No. 17) or Arina Sobolenko (WTA No. 2).

Sviontek will remain world number one after the Cincinnati competition, but will have to beat Sobolenko at the US Open.
