Tommy Paul, Francisco Cerundolo and Ben Shelton have been added to the global roster ahead of the Laver Cup, while Hubert Hurkacz and Gael Monfils will complete the European roster.

The two six-player rosters that will face off September 22-24 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver are now complete.

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, 15e in the world, and Americans Taylor Fritz, No. 9, and Frances Tiafoe, No. 10, had already been selected.

On the European side, Hurkacz and Monfils join No. 4 Holger Rune, No. 5 Casper Ruud, No. 7 Stefanos Tsitsipas and No. 8 Andrey Rublev.

Reserves for each team will be chosen later.

Paul, 14e in the world rankings, is having a good time. He notably surprised world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz two weeks ago in Toronto, en route to his first appearance in the semi-finals of a Masters 1000 tournament.

He had been invited to the Laver Cup last year as a reserve.

Cerundolo and Shelton will be making their Laver Cup debuts in Vancouver. Hurkacz and Monfils will also be participating in the tournament for the first time.
