Season is over for Bandosa: ‘The pain won’t let me progress’
Paula Bandosa will also not compete in the US Open and, as announced, has decided to end her season to fully recover.
Paula Bandosa announced on social media that she will not compete in the final Grand Slam of the year or any other tournaments this year, ending her season to recover from her injury and return.
“Anyone who knows me knows how much I want to compete and how difficult the decision was for me. We tried everything together with my team, but the pain didn’t let me go any further.”

We remind you that in recent months the Spanish tennis player has been struggling with a serious back injury. He also competed at Wimbledon about two months ago, managed to qualify for the 2nd round but gave up and eventually retired.
