The main tournament of the US Open is just around the corner and Sportish brings you everything you need to know about the historic tournament.
The time for the last Grand Slam of the year has come. From August 28th to September 10th, tennis fans will be looking to New York for the US Open.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari go into the historic tournament aiming to go as far as possible and the draw allows them to reach the quarter-finals with relative ease.
There are quite a few men who would like another duel between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Among the women, Sambalenka, Rybakina, Pegula, Zambe and Goff form a five capable of dethroning Iga Sviontek.
All games will be broadcast in the Sportish match center, the tournament will be televised by Eurosport.

Maria Sakkari meets Spain’s Masarova in the first round and the winner of the pair between Smiedlova and Baidl in the second round.
In the third round, she will likely face Kalinina, and in the fourth, Muhova and Haddad Maia. If she reaches the quarterfinals, she will play with one of Azarenka or Rybakina, while in the semifinals one of Sviontek, Ostapenko, Kvitova, Linete, Mertens and Goff awaits her.

The facts about Tsitsipas
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Novak Djokovic are in the same quarter according to Thursday’s (24/08) draw, which means that the two players are very likely to meet in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The Greek tennis player will start his duties against the Milos Raonic and, if he qualifies, Popirin are waiting for him. Eubanks is his main opponent in the third round and in the fourth one of Musetti and Fritz will stand in his way.
Unexpectedly, Novak Djokovic awaits him in the quarterfinals and one of Rude, Tiafoe, Davidovic Fokina and Rooney in the semifinals.
There are several candidates in the final, the first and best is Carlos Alcarath.

A total of 60 million euros will be distributed
The cash prizes given to athletes participating in this year’s US Open will be increased again. The organizers will pay out a total of 60 million euros.
They will thus donate 4.6 million more than in the previous year. It is typical that most prices are increased by around 15%.
