Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic (ATP No. 2) started the US Open with a win.

He learned of his affair with the Frenchman Alexander Muller in the first round match and achieved a convincing victory in three sets.

The victory secured Djokovic’s return to first place in the world rankings. As you know, the new version will be released to the public after the US Open is completed. Novak will start its 390th week as No. 1 in the world.

For Novak Djokovic, the victory over Muller at the start of the Grand Slam tournament was the 67th consecutive win in the first round of such competitions. This is the longest streak of wins for a man in the Open Age.

In the second round, Djokovic will face Spanish Bernabé Zapata Miralles, who defeated Ethan Quinn in the first round match.
