US Open: Djokovic continues to change tennis history
Novak Djokovic defeated Bernabez Mirages 3-0 to extend an unimaginable record streak against players outside the top 50 at the US Open.
Novak Djokovic made his clash with Bernaves Mirages a formality after winning 3-0 sets to advance to the third round of the US Open.
The 6-4, 6-1, 6-1 Over the course of around two hours, they show the picture of the game against the Spaniard and world No. 76, with Nole qualifying again with typical ease.
In fact, with this win he extended another impressive streak he has against athletes who rank outside of the top-50 when he competes against them at the US Open.
This was his 39th win in as many games, a feat not achieved by any player since tennis’ Open era.
In his match, only the first set was competitive. Djokovic had the answers and then managed to fully control the pace of the game and pull off a totally controlled win.
