The world’s ninth oldest racket retired
American tennis player Coco Vandewey has retired. Her last professional match was the US Open doubles first round, where she lost to Sofia Kenin in a duet.
Note that the best year for Vandewey was 2017, when he played in the singles semi-finals at the Australian Open and US Open; this allowed him to enter the top ten in the world rankings.
Vandewey also won two singles and four doubles titles. He won the Fed Cup with Team USA in 2017.
CoCo’s career is coming to an end!
