Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Alexei Selivanenko believes that Aslan Karatsev’s victory in the second round of the US Open over the Spaniard Roberto Carballes-Baena will help him in terms of self-confidence.
The meeting of the second round ended with the score 6:2, 4:6, 6:3, 7:6 (7:4) in favor of Karatsev. Karatsev’s opponent in the next round will be American Ben Shelton.
