Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated the representative of Ukraine Lesya Tsurenko in the second round of the US Open.
The match lasted 59 minutes and ended with the victory of the Russian woman with a score of 6:1, 6:3.
In the third round Alexandrova will meet the winner of the pair Martina Trevisan (Italy) – Marketa Vondrousova (Czech Republic).
