Medvedev advanced to the third round of the US Open

Russian Daniil Medvedev made it to the third round of the US Open.
Medvedev defeated Australian Christopher O’Connell in four sets in the second round – 6:2, 6:2, 6:7 (6:8), 6:2. The opponents spent 3 hours and 4 minutes on the court. On account of the Russian tennis player 12 aces and 10 double faults, O’Connell made three filings right through with one double fault.
In the next round, Medvedev will face Argentinean Sebastian Baez.
