Russian Aslan Karatsev failed to reach the fourth round of the US Open in New York.
In the third round, Karatsev lost to American Ben Shelton – 4:6, 6:3, 2:6, 0:6. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 17 minutes on the court.
Shelton will compete with compatriot Tommy Paul (14th seed) for reaching the quarterfinals.
