Rublev commented on reaching the 1/8 finals of the US Open
Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev spoke about the victory over Arthur Rinderknecht and reaching the 1/8 finals of the US Open.
In the third round of the US Open, the Russian in four sets defeated the representative of France in four sets – 3:6, 6:3, 6:1, 7:5.
I haven’t played with Arthur before. We hadn’t even trained together so I didn’t know what to expect. I only knew that he had a great serve and an amazing right hand and he knew how to throw, so I knew that the match would not be easy. For reaching the quarterfinals of the US Open, Rublev will compete with Briton Jack Draper.
