Andrey Olkhovsky, the winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in the mixed doubles, said that Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev demonstrated a stable game in the third round match of the US Open against Argentina’s Sebastian Baez.

Medvedev won in three sets – 6:2, 6:2, 7:6.

— Daniil showed a good, stable game. He played the first two sets very tenaciously. In the third, however, again there was a small failure. But then the rain probably played into his hands.

After a short break, Medvedev returned well to the match and won in three sets. Baez is a tough opponent. To beat him, you need to play consistently. Medvedev handled it,” Olkhovsky told RB Sport.

In the next round, Medvedev will play with the Australian Alex De Minor.
