Former Russian tennis player, winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in mixed doubles Andrei Olkhovsky commented on the victory of Russian Andrei Rublev over Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech in the third round of the US Open.
Rublev won in four sets – 3:6, 6:3, 6:1, 7:5.
– The first set Rublev failed. The first serve was ineffective. But then Andrei adjusted his game and showed much better tennis, which immediately resulted in his great advantage on the court. And the result in the end turned out to be the one that everyone expected from Andrey, – Olkhovsky is quoted by RB Sport.
In the fourth round of the US Open, Rublev will play Briton Jack Draper on September 4.
