Chesnokov: “I think Rublev will keep Draper on the back line. Jack has a very awkward serve.”

Andrei Rublev in the fourth round match of the US Open against Britain’s Jack Draper should be wary of a good opponent’s serve, says former Russian tennis player Andrei Chesnokov.
Rublev, who occupies the eighth place in the ATP ranking, will play with the 123rd racket of the world Draper on September 4.
– Rublev and Draper played in Madrid – Andrey barely rebounded. Then Draper was somewhere in the 200th in the world. I don’t understand why Draper is treading water because he’s a good player.
Now he plays great. Draper serves well and could create problems for Rublev. But everything will depend on Andrew. I think he will keep Draper on the back line. The opponent will press, but Andrey plays faster at speed. Draper has a very awkward serve.
But Rublev is such a player that he can send the ball anywhere from anywhere. He can bring big problems to any player with these surprises,” Chesnokov told the “Championship”.
Earlier, Rublev defeated Draper twice – at tournaments in Washington and Madrid in 2022.
