Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev is more mentally stable than his rival in the 1/8 finals of the US Open British Jack Draper, according to the winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in mixed doubles Andrei Olkhovsky.
Rublev, who occupies the eighth place in the ATP ranking, will play with the 123rd racket of the world Draper on September 4.
Draper is a left-hander who isn’t afraid to step forward to the net. It seems to me that Andrei should be psychologically stronger. Draper will attack a lot, run to the net. It will be interesting to see how Andrei copes with the reception of his serve, especially in the second square, – Olkhovsky told RB Sport.
Earlier, Rublev defeated Draper twice – at tournaments in Washington and Madrid in 2022.
