Toni NADAL: ‘The overall level of current tennis players is disappointing’
Tony NadalRafael Nadal’s uncle said that the levels of players of the current generation are noticeably lower than those who have played before.
“A few weeks ago, during the Masters in Canada, my kids and I were talking at lunchtime about how weird it was that so many seeded players were eliminated prematurely, and how weird it was that this has become the norm in all tournaments that have been held for a while.
I think the best players from a few years ago were better and much more competitive than today’s players.
He would undoubtedly surpass Nadal Medvedev, stronger than Murray Zverev, Wawrinka Ruud. Del Potro would defeat both Rublev and Rune. The lack of stability surprised me. “The overall level is disappointing, apart from Djokovic and Alcaraz,” said Toni Nadal.
