German tennis player Alexander Zverev shared his impressions of the match in which he defeated the world’s first racket, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in three sets in the US Open 1/4 final (3:6, 2:6, 4:6).

“I was in the game from the first set. I could change the course of the meeting, but it didn’t work. In the second set, I felt pain in the hamstring of my left leg. So my feed rate dropped a lot. I needed a particularly good day at the Alcaraz game but everything went well. My strongest weapon disappeared after the first set, and when you don’t have it, it’s hard to fight,” said Zverev.

As you know, Carlos Alcaras, who defeated Zverev in the semifinals of the US Open, will face Daniil Medvedev.
