Carlos Alcaraz: “I took my chance”
Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaras, who is the first in the world ranking, shared his impressions of winning 6:3, 6:2, 6:4 against Alexander Zverev from Germany in the 1/4 final of the US Open.
“Given the level at which Sasha played the first set, it was great to win. That gave me confidence and backed up a bit in the second set. I tried my chance. Things were tough for him in the third set because I played at a great level and directed the score. He struggled a little physically in the third set, I’m happy that I was able to win in three sets,” Alcaraz admitted.
Earlier, Alexander Zverev announced that he lost to Alcaraz at the US Open.
