Soviet and Russian tennis player Andrei Chesnokov shared his impressions of the quarterfinals of the US Open between Russians Daniil Medvedev and Andrei Rublev, noting that both athletes should be given a monument for their quality play in difficult conditions.

On Thursday night, Medvedev defeated Rublev in the quarterfinals of the US Open with a score of 6:4, 6:3, 6:4.

I didn’t expect so many breaks. But if we take the level of the match as a whole, then the speeds were cosmic. Although such a score, but the level of tennis was simply phenomenal.
