American tennis player Coco Goff (No. 6 WTA) evaluated her victory against Czech Republic representative Carolina Muchova in the 1/2 final of the US Open.

Goff defeated Muchova in two sets: 6:4, 7:5.

“It was a difficult match. I had chances and when I lost them I had to pay the price. I think there was a lot of emotional difficulty during the match. But I was able to maintain my concentration. I am only proud of myself. Of course, it was not easy to play with so many stoppages, and this was not a normal situation. Neither “We didn’t know how long it would take, so we talked to management and security. It was hard to know what to do: warm up or save energy. But that’s life, things happen. I tried my best to keep the momentum I had after winning the first set,” Goff admitted.

Coco Goff will face Aryna Sabalenka in the US Open final.
