WTA bans tennis players from advertising sanctioned companies
Women’s Tennis Association WTA It has made a number of changes to the rules for holding tournaments under its auspices regarding advertising by sanctioned companies.
– Tennis players are prohibited from wearing or otherwise displaying symbols of sanctioned companies and individuals on or off the court.
– The ban applies to all female tennis players participating in tournaments or other events under the auspices of the WTA, regardless of whether the tennis player is in the tournament venue or not.
– The identities of tournaments, sanctioned companies and individuals are prohibited from being displayed in promotional materials, media platforms, court and venue signage and tournament staff uniforms.
– It is also prohibited to advertise products that WTA members do not like or disturb.
