Djokovic is a four-time US Open champion
Second place in the world rankings Novak Djokovic America became the champion of the major US Open.
In the final match, he defeated Serbian tennis player Daniil Medvedev in three sets. In the first set, Djokovic took a quick break to take a 3:0 lead and calmly won the game. In the second set, neither tennis player managed to make a break and the match went to a tiebreak, to which Djoeovic responded with scores of 0:2 and 1:3. The third set followed a similar scenario to the first; Djokovic’s early break and the Serb calmly carried the game to victory.
Thus, Novak Djokovic regained the US Open title five years later and claimed the American major title four times. Additionally, the US Open title broke a record for the Serbian tennis player as she became the 24th in major branches.
