Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev will receive $1.5 million following the results of the US Open, which ended in New York.
The Russian lost to the Serbian Novak Djokovic in the US Open final with a score of 3:6, 6:7 (5:7), 3:6. For the 27-year-old tennis player, this is the fourth defeat in five finals at Grand Slam tournaments.
Djokovic earned three million dollars as the tournament winner.
According to the ATP website, Medvedev’s total prize money for his career is 34.012 million.
