Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev responded with a joke to The Times of India’s report about the US Open tennis final between Daniil Medvedev and Novak Djokovic.
Indian media on social networks published the result of the final match of the US Open 2023 tennis tournament between Djokovic and Medvedev. But in its message on the social network, the newspaper mistakenly mentioned the account of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, and not the tennis player.
“Alas, I didn’t play against Novak Djokovic,” answered Medvedev to the post of publication.
The decisive match of the tournament in the USA ended with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:5), 6:3 in favor of Djokovic. For the 36-year-old Serb, this title was the 24th at Grand Slam tournaments.
