Former second racket of the world Anastasia Myskina explained the failures of Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev in the quarterfinals of Grand Slam tournaments.
Rublev lost to compatriot Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals of the US Open with a score of 4:6, 3:6, 6:4.
“It’s not just a matter of psychology, he’s inferior to the top three – Djokovic, Alcaraz and Medvedev. In order to take the next step, he needs to add in various components of the game, including going to the net more often, Metaratings.ru quotes Myskina as saying.
For the 25-year-old tennis player, this was the ninth defeat in his career at the quarterfinal stage of a Grand Slam tournament.
