Kichenok and Friedsam won at the start of the tournament in Japan

Ukrainian tennis player Nadezhda Kichenok and its German partner Anna-Lena Friedsam She defeated Britain’s Alicia Barnett and Olivia Nichols in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament in Osaka, Japan.

While Kichenok and Friedsam confidently won the first set with a score of 6:2, they lost the second set 3:6. The match went into a deciding set where the Ukraine-Germany duo needed to win 11 rallies to win.

In the second round, Nadezhda Kichenok and Anna-Lena Friedsam’s opponents will be Japanese tennis players Natsumi Kawaguchi and Momoko Kobori, who beat Swiss Victoria Golubich and Hungarian tennis player Panna Udvardi in two sets.
