Russian Anastasia Potapova lost to American Sofia Kenin in the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament in San Diego.
The opponents spent 1 hour and 18 minutes on the court. The American beat Potapova in two sets – 6:2, 6:3.
Kenin will play in the semifinals with the winner of the pair Maria Sakkari (Greece, 3) – Emma Navarro (USA).
