The first racket of Russia, Daniil Medvedev, in a special ATP project, chose the best qualities of tour players in order to create the image of an ideal tennis player.
Best forehand – Roger Federer, backhand – Dominic Thiem, serve – Nick Kyrgios, return – Novak Djokovic, slice – Steve Johnson and Federer, play at the net – Kyrgios and Federer, soft shot – Corentin Moutet, flexibility – Djokovic, mental toughness – Rafael Nadal, the desire to win – Nadal and Djokovic, the Russian answered.
At the same time, Medvedev chose himself in terms of speed and celebrations.
– I like mine [празднования]. Because I try to approach them with humor,” Medvedev answered the ATP press service to the last question.
Last week, the Russian lost to Novak Djokovic in the final of the US Open in New York. The Serb won his 24th Grand Slam title and regained first place in the ATP rankings, where Medvedev is in the top 3.
