The final of the WTA hard court tournament took place this evening in Osaka, Japan. 19-year-old American Ashlyn Kruger defeated Chinese Zhu Lin in two sets.
The match lasted 1 hour and 38 minutes. Kruger won the first WTA singles title of her career. This will see him break into the top 100 in the world rankings for the first time; she is currently ranked 123 she.
