The Australian tennis player did not rule out Sharapova’s possible return to the sport
Australian tennis player Daria Saville suggested that the winner of five Grand Slam singles tournaments, Maria Sharapova, could resume her career.
Saville posted a video on social networks in which 36-year-old Sharapova performs a set of exercises in the gym, in particular, working out with dumbbells.
“I smell another comeback.” No one does such special exercises just to “feel good,” Saville, who previously competed for Russia under the name Gavrilova, captioned the video.
Former world No. 1 Sharapova won 36 WTA singles tournaments before retiring in February 2020. Last summer, the tennis player gave birth to a son.
