In the third game, where the score was 1:2 in favor of the Swede, the opponents took breaks, and soon Krutykh made another break, which could have been decisive. However, the Ukrainian tennis player failed to serve twice in a row in the match, missed a total of three match points and committed three double faults. However, leading 6:1 in the tiebreaker for the third time, Alexey Krutykh converted the first match point, but was already at the reception.

In the second round, Alexey Krutykh will play against the second seed, Austrian Sebastian Ofner. If the Ukrainian tennis player wins, he will face one of two Frenchmen in the quarter-finals: Constant Lestienne or Harold Maillot. The Ukrainian player had not played with either of them before.
