Poznikhirenko reaches final qualifying round of ITF tournament in Berkeley
Ukrainian tennis player Anna Poznikhirenko Taking first place, American reached the final qualifying round of the ITF World Tour W60 tournament held in Berkeley, California.
In the first round of qualification, Poznikhirenko defeated local tennis player Katya Wiersholm, who was playing as a wild card, in three sets. After winning the first set, the Ukrainian player broke the tie in the second set and won the third game without any problems in a tense fight.
In the qualifying final, Anna Poznikhirenko will play against Elicia Bolton from Australia, who is ranked 11th. They haven’t played with each other before.
