Sakkari reached the final of a tournament in this category for the third time and won for the first time. She also competed for the title in Guadalajara last year, but lost to Jessica Pegula in the final. As of Monday, Maria will move up three places in the world rankings.
This was Dolehide’s first singles final at the WTA level. She will enter the top fifty in the new edition of the WTA rankings.
