PHOTOGRAPH. Kalinina walked the streets of Tokyo
Tonight, Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina started the tough WTA 500 tournament in Tokyo with a victory, beating young American Ashlyn Kruger in two sets. This is the first performance of a Ukrainian tennis player at a tournament held in the capital of Japan.
After the match, Kalinina walked through the streets of Tokyo and shared her impressions of the city:
“I cannot express in words how much I love this place and how much I enjoy being here and playing tennis,” Kalinina wrote on her Instagram page.
