Beijing. Kalinina, Kostyuk and Tsurenko recognized their rivals
The main draw for the prestigious WTA 1000 challenge tournament, which will be held in Beijing from September 30 to October 8, has been drawn. Three tennis players will represent Ukraine: Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk and Lesya Tsurenko.
Kalinina will face eighth-ranked Marketa Vondrousova in the first round. If Angelina wins in the second round, she will face the winner of the match between Daria Seville and Katerzina Sinyakova.
Marta Kostyuk will start with a match against Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto. The opponent in the second round will be the winner of the match between the seventh-placed Tunisian Ons Jabeur and one of the qualifiers.
Lesya Tsurenko will play against the host of the tournament, Zhu Lin, in the first round. The possible opponent in the second round is Veronika Kudermetova, who is ranked 16th.
