Vondrousova was subjected to numerous insults due to her loss to Kalinina
This morning, Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina made an impressive comeback against Marketa Vondrousova in the first round match of the WTA tournament in Beijing, taking the lead in three sets.
As often happens in such situations, Vondrousova faced a lot of insults and accusations of unfair play from betting fans on social networks after the match:
“Even a casino is safer than these shameless bastards.”
“He lives only for his family and their needs. “Do not trust any tennis player, do not bet on tennis or football.”
“Kalinina live betting was crazy, some insiders made tons of money today.”
“WTA should investigate.”
“Cheater! Open your legs again.”
“He sells matches and should be banned from playing tennis.”
Today, Marketa Vondrousova posted screenshots of some of the abuse she received following the loss of Anhelina Kalinina:
“Here we go again.”
It’s really sad that the players have to go through this after basically every defeat.
