Kudermetova gained three places in the WTA rankings after her victory in Tokyo, Schneider rose by 22 positions

Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova improved her position in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) ranking, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.

The Russian woman gained three places and now occupies 16th place. On Sunday, Kudermetova became the winner of the WTA tournament in Tokyo.

Finalist of the competition in Ningbo, China, Diana Schneider exchanged 22 positions and rose to 63rd place. Semifinalist of the tournament in Tokyo Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova soared from 86th to 62nd place.

The best position among Russian tennis players is occupied by Daria Kasatkina (13th). The rating is still headed by the representative of Belarus Arina Soboleva, the second is Iga Schwiatek from Poland, and the American Cori Gauff closes the top three.
