Quarter-final matches were held in the challenging ATP 500 series tournament held in Beijing (China) on October 2.

The top seed of the competition, Carlos Alcaraz, confidently beat Casper Ruud in two sets. The Spaniard will face Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals. The Italian defeated Grigor Dimitrov.

Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev will play at the bottom of the tournament rankings in the semi-finals.
