Samsonova beat Ukrainian Kostyuk and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Beijing

Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova reached the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing.
In the third round match, Samsonova defeated Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk with a score of 6:4, 6:7 (4:7), 7:5. The tennis players spent just under three hours on the court.
After the end of the match, the Russian woman approached the net to shake Kostyuk’s hand, but the Ukrainian athlete refused to shake hands.
In the next round, Samsonova will play with Elena Ostapenko (Latvia, 13).
